I drive a 97 Civic that's in really good condition. However, one thing keeps bugging the living hell out of me- When I drive it, or park it on a slant, the fuel gauge reading likes to bounce back and forth between whatever the actual reading is and about a quarter to a half a tank less. I never really know just how much gas I have. And when I have over a half a tank, I can clock almost two hundred miles and the gauge won't budge, but after I pass that, I can barely go ten miles without almost running out of gas.
Is this something that's 1) an easy fix, and 2) something I need to worry about? I'm a total girl that knows NOTHING about cars. I'd rather not have to drag it into the shop, too.
