or input shaft bearing? i recently started hearing humming/buzzing/slight rattling coming from the front end of my car, i got under the car and saw that the boots of the axles were torn and leaking grease. i replaced both of them but the car still makes a spinning noise that i can feel through the shifter. clutch seems fine and transmission shifts into all gears but the noise will get louder as the speed increases. even when the car is in neutral and your just coasting you can hear like a spinning bearing kinda noise as the wheels turn. its definitely coming from the front right side where the tranny is so thats what leaves me to believe its either the transmission or right wheel bearing. anyone have idea what is causing this??
