hey everyone. i have been looking on the web for a good commuter car for me to drive to school, i have come across a 1997 Honda Civic CX For $3,000 that appears to meet my criteria. but the only problem is that it is in a small used car lot, which my older brother and father do not like a bit (they absolutely hate small used car lots all they say is that they just want to get your money and screw you) in other words they don't trust them. so i just wanted to ask the yahoo community if anyone has a good experience with small used car lot.

the car looks really clean from the pictures that the dealer provided in the ad. also i don't know if this makes a difference but the small car dealer only sales used honda's would that make them more trust worthy since they only specialize on one type of car so they know their stuff about honda's therefore their cars in good shape?
so what do you guys think about the Car?
and what do you guys think about small used car dealers?
oh and i live in southern California so car prices are a little but higher than the rest of the country just take that into consideration when looking at my post. and lastly i have checked for any reviews on the web about the car lot and it has 2 perfect ratings and one bad rating it involved something about a 20 dollar check or something like that which does not look to bad.
