I recenlty bought a 2004 Honda Civic EX 2 Door Sport Coupe Special Edition with a VTEC engine.
Now my problem is the steering wheel, everything else is fine.
When i'm driving on straight roads I can't hold the steering wheel straight or it begins to drift to the right. The original owner said he took the car for an alignment before he sold it to me. At home I checked the tire PSI it was low on all sides at first but then I pumped the tires back to their PSI ratings which is 45PSI according to the tires engravings.
I did another test drive, it was less than before but I still need to hold the steering wheel as if I'm about to make a turn to the left. The steering wheel to go straight needs to be at about 5 to 10 degrees turned to the left. It's very annoying. I like to be able to have my hand straight up on the wheel.
I'm thinking the toe angle wasn't adjusted accordingly? Would another visit to the alignment shop help? If not what else can I do?
