Recently my Honda Civic has been giving me a huge problem, the engine management light is on constantly. The lights on the dashboard will all of a sudden come bright then dim again, the rev counter drops like it is going to stall, the speedo says im doing 30 then shoots up to 80mph. Mechanic says it could be the altenator but isnt 100% sure. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of it and could point me in the right direction?
