I am just about to tackle a gearbox oil change on my honda, it is hatchback 1.6vtec 5 speed manual 2001
In the manual it says the correct way to check if the fluid is up to the correct level is by putting your finger in the bolt hole and checking it is just below the hole. This has thrown me a little bit and was wondering if someone could clarify that there will be 2 holes 1 to empty and 1 to fill and that the manual is meaning fill the fluid up to just below the higher bolt, the hole used to fill ?
