I have an 81 HONDA CB750 that will not electric start. The battery is fully charged. One day I started it rode around for a bit and then stalled it (still learnin) and when I went to restart it it wouldnt do anything. I pop started it and it ran fine. But even after riding for 30 mins I shut it off and tried to electric start it again and it does nothing but a small click. It doesnt attempt to turn over or anything. I know the obvious make sure its in neutral have the clutched pulled in etc. I even had experienced riders try and nothing. Any idea what the problem is and how much it would cost to fix? thanks

Have you already had a good look over the wiring? if not just ensure nothing is earthing out that shouldn't be, and maybe get a voltage tester and see if its getting enough power?
failing all that try replacing the starter.
cheers, Dave.

p.s. have you tried the ol bush mechanic persuasive tap on the starter motor? it works for old cars sometimes.

You could have a bad wire or corroded wire/terminal/connector. Check and clean. If the battery cables have corrosion in the strands they will need replaced. That would be the first things to troubleshoot.
