Heya, i recently purchased a honda cb500 (2001 model) with a restrictor kit fitted.
I went for this model because of its fabled reliability, but it just wont run!
I purchased it a few days ago and first day she ran like a dream and i do adore the bike. But literally as of day 2 the engine just seems to suddenly lose power and eventually cuts out. Then it just plain wouldnt start and the AA had to come out and they couldnt start it.
When you press the ignition it will start at first but then after about 30secs the revs just drop no matter what you try and it cuts out!
I took it back to the shop i got it and they just claimed that when they started it, it was fine and they claimed i couldnt operate the choke, but if the AA couldnt start it either i doubt its just me.
Any advice?
