I have a 1979 Honda ATC 110 that has a points ignition. I need to know how to set the points, points clearence, and backing plate. Remember this is a points style ignition not a CDI. Thanks.
The main thing I need was the gap clearence and the backing plate poistion since somone grinded away at the marks for what reason I dont know. The gap was .014 and the backing plate I put in a postion till it fired, then I advanced the plate a few degrees till she smoothed out with good throttle response. Thanks for answers, but I didnt need em this time.
