Honda, Acura, or Jetta! Help!!!!!!!?

hello i am buying my first car, and i need some help i am a female 18, and i dont know much about cars i went to the dealership one time last year i was going to buy a 2006 Audi only 35,000 miles for $3000 i gave him $3000 in cash flat being that i was a girl, young, and by myself the dealer played me i went two days later to get the car the car already had someone else plates on it, i argued with the guy saying i gave him the money its on paper, the guy ended up giving 2500 back instead if my whole $3000 i was mad but i got some money back, i just want to know what are some good used cars, i dont want to go no lower than the year 2000. i heard Hondas are real easy to steal is that true? If it is i dont want to purchase a Honda! And should i actually bring my mother to the dealership with me, or bring a male? i just need some good used cars, and i need to know what is good mileage? and i want to know what cars to stay away from (you know the ones that’s easy to steal)? I don’t want to sound cheap but I don’t want to go over $3000 Thanks for the feedback
