I have a Honda Accord (either 2000 or 2001), and I'm pretty sure there's a problem with the starter.
At school today, I was leaving and I went to this other parking lot to wait for my friend. Then, it was driving fine, but it felt kind of weird starting it up. I don't know how to explain it. But afterwards, I'd put the key in and turn it and it'd just make this CHUNK WHIRRRRRR noise. This guy I know looked at it and told me it was probably a chip problem (I really don't know what any of these words mean). Then, a few minutes ago, my dad and I went back to try to get it to work. When we first tried it, the car turned on and started running, but then he turned it off to show me what to do if it happened again (he thought it was because the steering wheel was locked, which wasn't it.). Then, we went to turn it on again and it's making these pac man noises.
does that sound like it's a starter? and around how much would it cost to fix?
