I owned a 2 door Honda Civic LX for almost 6 years. This past December, I was in an accident which ended up totaling my Civic. Now I'm getting my bills caught up and trying to save for a car, but I'm having to borrow my mom's Accord and get rides in the mean time. I've decided to stay with Honda, and I plan I buying a pre-owned car, 2008 or up. My step-father has tried to persuade me multiple times that if I'm going to spend money on a car, I might as well spend a few thousand dollars more on an Accord, since (in his opinion) they are better made cars than the Civic. I'm not sure how he got to this conclusion, but its making the car buying experience more frustrating than it needs to be. What are some of the pros and cons of a Civic and Accord?
