honda accord leaking drive axle seal help?

after having a new clutch in my 2001 honda accord, the drive axle seal drivers side has started leaking, it has been replaced 3 times now and is still leaking, mechanic is stumped, he says there is no play or wear and has now mentioned adjustment of the bearings. any ideas ayone.
 
When the clutch was removed the garage would have removed the drive shafts from the gear box to get the engine and gearbox out. Its possible that during this operation they accidentally knocked the seal landing on the drive shafts. If it was the same garage who are now doing the repair work they may not want to admit that they have damaged it.
The only other possible reason for this is that there is potential bearing wear on the gearbox out put.
