I would say you received a fair price.. It a EX so it the fully loaded option van.. I must say all 2000-2003 honda van have a automatic transmission issue. The best way to keep it in TOP shape is to alway do the Transmission service every 15,000 miles. ONLY use HONDA ATF.. TRANSMISSION FLUID. IT WILL COST U AROUND 130.00 FOR THAT SERVICE. If for some reason the tranny goes out.. your best bet is to get a used one from a 2004 for around 1500 that price includes Installation and parts. Excluding Fluids..
I had a few replace my self.. But must say the van runs so good and smooth.. no issues.. GOOD luck.
 
I got a deal of $8000 on this used car. It has a mileage of 75,000. Is this a good deal and what should I do to inspect it?

Btw, I heard that this car has transmission problems. Should I be aware of that?
 
bluebook value of that vehicle is 5400 in good condition and 6175 in excellent condition.

so no that wasn't really a good deal.
