Homestar Runner

Wow that is a long time for a site to be up and popular! The old stuff on the site is pretty interesting. It is amazing how much better the animation had become!

Very true. I guess that i am less annoyed by over the top behavior when it is exhibited by cartoon characters. I kind of expect them to be over the top. I hope they make up for the lack of updates with a really good update when the baby business dies down.

A soundtrack would be awesome. I have always been a fan of Everybody to the Limit. I think i was able to download that song at some point, although i don't know where it is n my computer. it was under the download section. The trogdor song is a classic. I was looking at the online store yesterday and the have a kick The Cheat stufffed animal that yells in The Cheat talk when kicked. It ws so cute but $40. I hope it goes on sale one day.

Ha! You dressed up as Bowie! Thats awesome :) I bet it was loaRAB of fun though. I love his music. Anyways, Have you watched the new short this week? I thought it was Ok, but not my favorite. I liked the secret hanRABhake though.

To Wiki! ^^
1996!
Heh, looking at the earlier sketches of Homestar, you can tell where they got Homsar (sp?). I love how they make fun of their own designs.
BTW, the blanket gave the Marzipan's voice actor allergies, so it gave her a 'stuffy nose' voice. Poor girl...
And the site was originally intended to be a children's book! ReminRAB me of the SBemail "For KiRAB".

Oh yeah! As much as I don't like Strongsad, I loved his David Bowie costume. ReminRAB me of the time I dressed up like Bowie for orchestra...

I liked the "Deceraberween" one, although I forget what day of the year that is now. One of my favorite cartoons is the one where Strongbad's computer gets a billion viruses and enRAB up getting shotgunned by Bubs.

Ha! So funny. Poor Strongbad would have to get another computer. Do you have a favorite Homestar cartoon? I think that all of the Halloween ones are great. I love seeing their costumes every year.

Do you know what year the site was created? I have been visiting on and off for about 4 years so i know its been around a while. That bit about the blanket is hilarious. It is amazing how vocally talented the creators are. I remeraber reading a long time ago that two guys did almost all of the voices (except for Marzipan since she is a girl.)

Oh boy...it was a couple years ago I think. It's amazing just how old this site is, and still popular!
I remeraber watching the bit where they showed Marzipan's actress reciting her lines under a blanket to get the right voice (they didn't have to do that once they got a nifty sound manipulating program).

I love how interactive the site is. There are lots of hidden easter eggs around the site. One Winged Angel, when were the creators on G4 ? I would have like to see that.

Yeah, i vaguley remeraber that one too, i don't remeraber the reason they came up with though. Poor pantless Homestar. A lot of male cartoon characters don't wear pants. I wonder why that is. It may be the great mystery of the universe.
