My 4 month old kitten just came out of the vet's office yesterday after having an operation to get both spayed as well as surgery to remove the head of her femur on her right leg. She had fallen from the second floor to the first only a week earlier and broke her hip. Now, she keeps pulling at the stitches on her lower belly and leg, and I'm trying to get her to stop. But every time we put her Elizabethan Collar on, she manages to get it off in a matter of minutes. I'm trying to make my own bitter apple spray, and I've tried lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and rice vinegar, and it's only made her pull at her stitches and lick them more. Also, I was wondering if deodorant would work? Is it toxic to cats?
