homecoming dance makeup? need answers soon.?

i have my homecoming dance coming up soon and don't know what eye makeup to wear. i am wearing a yellow dress gold shoes and have dark brown hair and fair skin. thank you.
 
i'd do a "gold-rush" make up look as i call it (:
start out with your foundation, powder, etc (conceal anything you need)
then take a cream eyeshadow, one with glitter or just a warm color and sweep it over the lids. Then take a peach or orangey color and blend it into the crease. Then take a gold powder shadow, and blend it into the lid. Take the lightest color in your pallet and blend into the brow bone and the inner corner of your eye right by the tear duct. Then add some mascara, some brown eyeliner sort of cat eye like and add a little lipgloss

with shadow, either go natural, as in browns, or go with a metallic gold color. or do a mix of golds and browns, they would go nice. and then just wear a bit of eyeliner and mascara and you're set! no caking on the makeup =) natural = beauty
