HI well I read in a book that fruit with vegetables make a type of war in the stomach. Later in a class I heard that the fruits and vegetables compete for absorption in the same places. In chemistry class they taught people that some chemicals when put together with other ones make a fast reaction that can be something no one wants. I suspect that to some extent but this may be also happening with fruits and vegetables in my opinion. There seems to be a couple exceptions to some extent and that is the avocado, which does not taste well cooked in my opinion, and the lemon which can be added to greens and sometimes many a recipe without much difficulty.
