home remedy for head lice?

Does anyone know a good way to get rid of headlice? pleas help, I already used Rid. My daughter had friend stay and we didnt know she had it.
One said I could use dish soap what kind and does it work?
 
We used Kwell to get rid of my nieces' lice. It can be bought at a Drug store. You use it like a regular shampoo and is applied 2-3 times a week. Just check the box for instructions on how to use it.
 
well i have had it 3 or 4 times in my life and the only solution i have found was using the shampoo and then also washing all clothes bedding, caots sweters etc in VERY HOT water. use degergent aswell. also make sure that you comb all of the nits out and then check her head again in two weeks just to be sure you got it all out. also for kids i have found that the strawberry scent is not good lol. they hate the smell.
