No you didn't test early and that sounds like a positive. If you don't replace the overcap, the urine will evaporate and a negative will show up. Some women get false negatives this way. Take another test if you aren't sure. Try a digital one like First Response Gold and you will get a much clearer YES or NO. Good luck.
