HOME PREGNANCY TEST~ HELP!?

as of right now, my period is late, and im questioning if i'm pregnant.
today my bf came over, and brought me a pregnancy test.
we were just hanging out waiting for me to have to pee, but we got impatient, so i drank alot of water. like, 30 ounces. The result was NEGATIVE. but, would the water have affected that?????

how late is your period also maybe u should try another one right off when u wake up it is possible the water could of diluted your urine so i would either wait a few more days or if it were me i would try another tomorrow morning u could also get a blood test they are the most accurate.

If you aren't that late, yes. All that water would have dilluted your urine and therefor the hormone wouldn't have been as strong.

Yes, it can. Drinking a lot of water will dilute your urine, making it harder to pick up the hcg. Your best bet is to test with your first morning urine, when it is more concentrated. If you want to test in the middle of the day, wait 4 hours and drink very little.
