HOME - new way to access

As some of you know. The Samsung Vibrant has an issue where the HOme key acts up and doesn't work sometimes.
Would it be possible to come up with a new to access HOME, w/o the use of the home button?
 
Definitely. If I purchased a brand-new, top-of-the-line, highly advertised Android device and something as basic as the home button was messing up then I would instantly return for a new unit.

The home button is essential and should last forever (not be malfunctioning in the first 2 weeks of the device being out).
 
Just call them and exchange it, no problem. They replaced one of my G1's and just got a replacement for my wifes phone, warranty expired 4 August, had so much trouble with the phone in the year they upgraded to a better phone for free. T-Mobile has the best cutomer service of any carrier.
 
Yeah. I don't think sammy failed you per say. Its still a great device. One of the best and if the hard ware was a bit more solid and on a better carrier then I would get it in a heart beat. I know its coming to verizon and I might just get it then. Don't fret. You made the right choice going with the vibrant. You just got a bad one is all
