home made pulley covers...

was planning on picking up some SpeedyMoto billet pulley covers for my 07 sport classic 1000s and then i had an idea ..... why the hell not just cut up the OE ones and make my own!!!! here are some pics. im thinking of getting the dipped in carbon fiber coating or maybe red annodizing.. saved myself $345 and LOVE the way they look....

I like the designs, but I'm not crazy about not having a cover over the belts.. I used a drill press to machine out the covers on my 06 SC.

Nice work Land, the very same attitude as myself!

The only drawback to open belt covers is if you collect a stone (or other piece of road debris) flicked up from another vehicle in front, it will break the belt and the engine will consume itself in seconds.

I DO like your style though!

nice work FLY, i come from a background of streetrods and custom cars so any time you can see belts moving its as badass as it gets.. i constantly stare at them at stop lights... lol

I understand the desire to have something unique Land, My Tricolore is loaded with personally cutomised one-offs. Looks great, saves cash and adds huge personal satisfaction. Big thumbs up to you Mate!
