My parents in law wanted to purchase this home that was foreclosed on by the bank and was a very nice deal. They sold their home and planned to use that to purchase this new home. However the lender who is HUDD told them they can NOT pay for the home in cash that they MUST get a loan through wells fargo. Obviously they do not want to buy the home now because the loan person wants to really dig deep into their personal life on things that honestly have nothing to do with buying the home. They did not want to get a loan they wanted to pay cash. Shouldn't that be illegal to force someone into a loan (I presume to get some sort of kickback otherwise why not accept cash on a house that someone else never finished paying for) to buy a house when they've accepted the offer on the house but refused the method of payment (payment being cash) We are in North Carolina
