Home Alone Series

I personally have loved the series. Is it true that there will be a fifth one with Kevin all grown up re-starring Macaulay Culkin!??

Also in the fourth installment, do we know why Harry or any of the original cast for that matter were not shown!!?

1 and 2 where great and I quite enjoyed 3 bur number 4 was complete waste of time for me

I also cant see them making a 5th one but would be interesting to see Mcauly Culkin in it if they did

I enjoyed the first 3 of the films. I haven't seen the fourth though. But i don't understand how they would make a 4th featuring an adult or i guess the child will be teenage rather than a little child.

The first two are BRILLIANT!!! The third is a nice spin-off but the fourth one is a joke. The gag's are cheap and all the plot twists were very predictable! MC should come back though to the series that made him lol

Home Alone 3 was OK because it was written by John Hughes who wrote the first two, along with classics like The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Planes Trains... etc. who died a few weeks ago. I don't think another proper Home Alone film should see the light of day with him gone. It's pointless, it would just be the same old story.

According to wikipedia, the third one should have had the original cast in it, but the Network Production team said no to it, which lead to a whole new cast being introduced. I heard a similar thing with MC signing a three movie contract, why did they not want it to be done with originals???

I think because Culkin would have been too old for the part by then and would have ruined the concept of a 'child' being left home alone.
