It's not really fair to judge the Wii's graphics on ONE SHITTY game. Just like showing Zelda shouldn't be anyone's defense.

why cant you defend with zelda? zelda is a gamecube port, and it still looks damn decent, and it's even better knowing that the wii is capable of more power.

I don't think anyone disagrees with it, but I'm sure most people expect their next gen systems to bring gameplay + graphics, not either or.

Wii can have decent looking games...it is a charged up gamecube and a Gamecube isn't too shabby. It won't look like a 360 or PS3 game but it won't look completely crappy...unless you're playing the game in this thread.

And they didn't make a more powerful system because of cost.

I played Excite Truck yesterday at a local EB on their display Wii and it was the most fun I'd had playing a video game in a while in all seriousness. I can't wait to play better games on this system, hell I may just have to get Excite Truck with my Wii.
