Holiday Movie Fans Thread - Just about that time of year again

The movie (I think in the U.S it was a TV show) I always watched when I was a little kid was called "It almost wasn't christmas"... I really, really love that movie!
Unfotunately it seems that it never came out on dvd or VHS and they're not showing it on TV anymore because it's so old. :(
I'd do almost everything to see that movie again *sigh*

I'm watching Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

It's so funny to see Matthew Laurence as a little boy and then the girl from the Torkelsons and An Eye for an Eye.. I forget her name.

It's abit late now, but, I loved A boyfriend for Christmas. It was adorable. Another one I love and try to watch every year is A Holiday Affair . I'm dying to see Undercover Christmas , but, I can't find it anywhere and it hasn't been shown in the UK yet

I have them all as well! They are so great to own. I loved Ethan Embry as Rusty in Vegas Vacation. Him winning all those cars just by putting a dollar in a slot machine  I wish I could do that!

Rusty: I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a car. I put a dollar in, I got a car.

I love the part when they go to the hoover dam.

Hoover Dam Guide: I am your dam guide, Arnie, please don't wander off the dam tour and please take all the dam pictures you want. Now are there any dam questions?
Cousin Eddie: Yeah, where can I get some damn bait?

Blues- Me too, I like watching Christmas type of movies. I also like " Undercover Christmas" tv movie also. That was a good one.

I am excited to see the new Nancy Meyers movie! It has a holiday feel to it...it seems like it's going to be this year's Love, Actually! I think the trailer looks too cute! I also saw that they are doing a give away in coordination with its release. Here's the link, in case you want to enter. All you have to do is create a video saying where you would go for a change in scenery & why. Seems like a cool way to get $2500 for a trip!

I just watched both the Home alone movies yesterday, I really like the first one but the second one has some funny parts as well. Never seen the 3rd one before.

Okay, turns out I do too, I was looking through my collection - I seriously don't remember ever getting it though. :embarrassment:

 Oh yeah, I remember all those! In the Martha Stewart thing she always has something covering her breasts somehow!

And the sweaty balls thing always cracks me up! Like how could they not know? ;) Eeew.. just picture that. ;)

Yeah it's a great movie. But if you are watching it with your kids be carefule when Steve Martin is at the car rental booth! I think he says the F-word about 20 times in a row! It's hilarious though.
