Hockey: Do you think Messier will become the Rangers GM(when and if they fire Sather)?

we dont know if messier is a good GM, i mean say what you want about sather , but when it comes to trades, he is one helluva guy. Getting rid of gomez for ryan mcdonough and chris higgins wow. i mean i think sather would get fired if gaborik ends up being a huge fluke or another really really bad signing happens. who knows i would like the mess as a GM

It would depend on when Sather is fired. If he's fired within the next 3 or 4 years someone else will probably take over before Messier because he probably won't be ready to be a GM for a few years.
