The last portion he stated to you was technically incorrect. As it was explained to me by our rep and customer care, you must give 30 days notification of your cancellation or pay for 30 days of service (small print in contracts, gotta love those ). I would call customer care today if you truly wish to cancel and verify this and put your cancellation order in place today if I was informed correctly to avoid that last 30 days of service charge.

Good deal. By the way, your billing cycle date will be changed if you elect to use a corporate discount in order to fall in line with your corporate entity's billing date. I believe Freelancer's Union billing date is the 6th.

Remember, it will take a full billing cycle to go into effect, then most likely a prorated billing cycle payment as your new billing period is switched from current date to the 6th, and then the following month's bill will have a full 30 day cycle with the 10% off showing on your statement.

Like others have posted, most companies tend to target new customers with the deeply discounted phones. I know from working electronics retail for years that the best prices for equipment almost always go to new customers to snag them. However, even though it seems like you're not getting an incentive on the phone you want, you really are. Were you to buy the phone outright, it would costs triple what you're paying for it. T-Mo often times has great web-only deals too. I picked up a Samsung for my mom as an emergency phone about 2 years ago that was available online only and was only about $10. Cheapest in the store with a contract extension at that time was about $40.
