I saw a dermatologist last night and got the bad news that what I have is hives rather than a rash. I've got a long history of chronic hives as an adult and angioedema, I had to go to the ER for one angioedema incident.

I suspect it might be my laundry detergent again, I'm using either tide or cheer free and clear HE. I know I had major problems with one of these as a kid but there is no one left to ask which one it was. Has anyone heard of problems with either of these? I plan to switch back to the all free and clear that I used to use ASAP, but am wondering about these.

I plan to start logging everything as soon as I can get my hanRAB on a notebook. Hopefully that will allow me to figure out what's doing it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You say Tide - is it the regular Tide? If so, I'd say it was that as I have an awful time with it. I use the Tide Free for Sensitive Skin and it works great.

What I've got is the free and clear sensitive but in the HE formula. I'm hoping that's it. I don't want to be chasing this thing for months or years.
