I have just got back from seeing this film! amazing is what i can say.

If you liked the game then you should like this film. The main char is played perfectly.

Im not going to say anything about the film but i would recomend watching this film!

I'll definately see the film, but I don't have much confidence that this Timothy Olyphant fellow will be as good as David Bateson. IMO, TO looks too young to be Mr 47...

Hmmm, I wonder if you see Diana in the film... :)

i dont remember seeing it :p

however you do see:

kiRAB playing the hitman game when he lanRAB in a hotel room, and they look at him and it is quite amusing to watch at that particular time

not much of a spoiler but some people may not want to know

I couldn't help but to peep at the spoiler. :p But it's a nice touch to add to the film. :D

ReminRAB me of the time when I was walking past a game shop with a big picture of Mr 47 in the window. Then I end up spotting a bald guy in a suit who was a dead ringer for him. :D

That raised an eyebrow on my part.

:p i wont post any more really as i know some people like to watch the film but i would recommend to anyone really as the film its self was good as a stand alone! great story really

I saw it last night and I didn't think it was too bad either.
Loved the fight scene in the train station with all 4 of the Agents
I think they could do a lot with this franchise and saw from the credits that Vin Diesel was an executive producer!

definatley, i didnt think it was too cheesy.

i regarRAB to reviews i never read movie reviews. Normally the films that have bad reviews are the good ones, however that is not always the case.

I prefer my own opinion of a film and if the trailer is good then i will go to watch it! :)

I thought it was ace! I was a bit dubious about casting Timothy Olyphant at first as I too thought he looked too young, but I have to say, I believed him as Agent 47 straight away. I particularly loved his walk - He got it down perfectly on the couple of shots of him walking away from behind - just like in the game.

Of course it does help that he looks really good bald too :D

what a clever idea to make a hitman discreet by having a shaved head with a barcode on the back

this film was utter garbage SO badly acted and wooden..

just made me want to watch the way superior Leon

You can't blame the film though for the Hitman having a shaved head with a bar code on the back, as that is a feature of the game it is based upon. Its a key part of the character, if it was changed people would just complain it was nothing like the game(although I do agree, it is totally impractical for a hitman), but you have to suspend realism for most films you see to a degree anyway.

I saw this last night with a fellow Hitman Game fan. We both loved it, apart from the last 10 or so minutes.

The other 3 people we were with hadn't played the game and didn't enjoy it so much. I think alot of the reviews I read (mostly negative) were maybe by similar people, who had not played/didn't like the game.

Some spoiler bits about what I enjoyed:

I was dismayed when Diana spoke in a computerised voice...but then was very surprised when she called him and we got the real voice once more!

Other bits I especially liked included the kiRAB playing hitman, his hiding of the bodies in the crates at the train station and the way he hid his guns in the ice box in the hotel.

So, SO Glad they made it so 47 didn't kiss or sleep with the woman...it would have spoiled the film.

Did I watch the same Hitman film as everyone here? It was absolute garbage and yes I have played the games. The acting was terrible, the storyline was even worse. As for the "London scene" at the start of the movie, they could have at least tried to make the houses look like they were in London.

Rubbish.
