i havent read the books but love the 80`s seires which i bought on dvd! now when i first saw this i wasnt too sure but we bought it recently and i liked it a lot more second time round!!
i do think that some were expecting a striaght traslation to film which wasnt possible but also people ahve to rember that Doug Adams did have a say in all that went on on this including writing the part for Malcovich! (ok he was a waste of time!! )
but it wasnt too bad! better than some films i have seen!
