fools say dumb stuff like that? Men on here don't like it when they get lumped into one category "All men are rapists" etc. So why do you turn right around and do the same to feminists, when it's been stated by most feminists that they don't agree with that ridiculous idea?
 
Because the person who said it claimed to be a feminist. It is the same way if some white guy is a rapist, then all white guys are rapists to some people...
 
Because that is what modern feminism is about.

Changing words like "human" into "humyn". It is so gay.

Not all women are fools. But all feminists are.
 
Gives them something to argue with us about. If they keep on "dreaming" up all these things that supposedly "all" women want, it keeps the theories alive in their little minds, and...just like anything else you repeat over and over...sometimes, you actually start to believe it.
 
Because of the many psycho's out there that claim to be. I only know what my parents have told me about the 70's; I never went to school for it. I honestly respect my fore mothers, but the women who get a say today make feminism look evil and hate filled. That woman who said men are insignificant if we can "take sperm" and manufacture it.

I do NOT hate all feminists, I dislike Greer and Dworkings and the horrible name they made for it! My mum and who were a feminists in the 70's don't believe in what feminism stands for today. Because most of it is a cop out. Women deserve equal treatment, but not equal jail time? Women deserve equal pay but not equal hours, my mum wanted women to be the same as men; WHILE doing the same as men and have the same outcome. Not a hand out.... It's a major hand out and I am against hand outs!
 
That would be because feminists support ( or do not separate themselves from ) those "fools.
Those same fools that say all intercourse is rape etc are still considered to be icons by most of you.

As far as men, I'm stereotyped every day and like most generalizations ,they're generally true , if I feel strongly enough about the inaccuracy of a generalization I'll say something about it.

In a public forum that discusses "Society" and "Sociology" it's highly impractical to address each and every person , one at a time.
 
If I had a penny for everytime somebody said something like "but not all feminists are like that" I'd be a wealthy man.

The fact is that feminism is feminism is feminism.
 
You are in danger of swallowing the whole language nonsense levelled atr feminists...this all came from feminist linguists who highlighed the way language is gendered, is used to describe us poorly, inaccurately or not at all...so history, literally had rendered much of women's involvement invisble...the herstory idea was to simply highlight the fact.
So, no not getting our knickers in a twist because we should change
manhole cover to personhole cover...but get tired of femaleness being invisible in language..e.g. if I chair a meeting want to be known as the chair not chairman! It is basic acknowledgement...if we are equal so the words used to talk about us be the same...
 
That's because all the loud feminist's tend to spout their nonsense whilst the so called 'equality' feminists don't say a word, if you don't disagree with them how else would people think of feminists.

if i'm not mistaken, the ones who actually invented the gay spelling were some guys...where it was from "women" to "womyn"

but back to the question, i guess it's the

"you (the opposition party) are stupid, cold and hypocrites for generalizing us" -this works through a loud scream

"but it is right for us to generalize you since you are really like that"
-this usually works subconsciously


the double standard exists in every disputes that involve people who ran out of decent points and decided to act like little kids, regardless of topic of arguments and not just between feminist and anti-feminist.
