...*Ghost Dance*? Native Americans were not allowed to perform this ceremony until the signing of The Freedom of Religion Act of 1967.

They were accused of being devil worshippers.

But in reality the Indian (neams in God) could pray down curses upon the white man.

They run the spiritual kingdom and God does what they want, remember David and dancing around the ark (fire)

The Government thought that the Ghost Dance was a 'War Dance'. Not having taken the time and effort to understand the Native Americans they merely assumed that the dance was to encourage the young buck for battle.
They failed to realize that the Dance was a Spiritual offering...

as was said, the dance scared them. they never, and still don't, take the time to understand what we are. it gave them an excuse to destroy more of us. we did not legally receive freedom of religion until 1978 and some amendments in the 1990s as well. my lifetime had ceremonies being performed illegally. so much for usa and freedom for everyone....except natives.
