history question - cold war reactions?

Suez Canal was the bone of contention of the USA and USSR in 1950. This canal was the source of trade between the Egypt and other part of the world. At this time President Jamal Abdul Nasser of the Egypt Republic was a very brave man. He managed all the circumstances as well as reactions of the war in a very brave manner. I salute him for his unprecedented glory and abilities of a good statesmanship. Good Luck
 
hey can someone please tell me the USSR reaction to uniting for peace resolution of 1950 and well as the USA and USSR's reaction to the suez crisis. thanks!
