are the treaty of versailles and the peace treaty the same thing? i am soo confused.
 
The Treaty of Versailles was ONE of the peace treaties that ended WWI. It ended the war with Germany. Other peace treaties for other nations involved in WWI followed.
 
I think the Treaty of Versailles was the peace treaty because it concluded WWI. In addition to signing the Treaty of Versailles, Woodrow Wilson also formulated his Fourteen Points of Peace, so that could possibly be the peace treaty as well. Ask your history teacher for further clarification.
