I'm doing a 5-8 page paper on the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s for my history class. However I'm struggling with my main thesis (main point/main argument). I need to come up a main thesis statement that argues something that deals with the Civil Rights Movement. I was thinking of arguing that the collective contributions of various activists were more significant than those of Martin Luther King Jr (i.e. Thurgood Marshall, Rosa Parks, The Little Rock Nine and many others). Is this plausible? Any suggestions for a main thesis?
