I need 4 points on the Weimar Republic of Germany.
So far I have:
•It was between the abdication of Kaiser Wilhelm II and the assumption of power by Adolf Hitler.
•Unpopular because of its acceptance of the Treaty of Versailles.
Thankyou Chode64 for your answer. However, I need something more specific, only about the Weimar Republic. I am aware of the effect of the Treaty and the Depression, but I need something about the government only.
 
The reparations for the war crippled the German economy. Rampant hyperinflation of the German mark made currency almost worthless. Furthermore, most Germans resented the treaty and advocated its renunciation.


The bad economy only sharpened class divisions. Violence flared against Jews and other minorities. Socialists, communists, fascists, and conservatives fought each other in the streets. Most Germans did not believe in democracy and hoped for a return of the monarchy.
