Hiring a lawyers to start my small business. What's best? LLC, Limited, Inc?

Please help!? I am starting a small business and just spoke with a lawyer. My business is a lifestyle consultancy and I am trying to decide which would be best; and LLC, LLP, Limited, Corps., Inc, Etc. The lawyer I spoke with said it would cost about $900 to start the business and that we would be required by law to have whichever we choose; llp, llc, etc on our company website? Is this true?
 
He's the lawyer. If you don't trust him on this, why use him?

And if you don't trust your lawyer, how will you trust anything you hear here? How do you know if the person answering is a lawyer or a llama?
