Hinduism and Islam....Sufi, Bhakti and Sikh Poetry? What is the difference?

Can anyone familiarize and help me with the differences between some Indian/Asian Religions? I have to answer this question:

Many people see great confluences across religious boundaries in the poetry of late medieval North India. Pick one line of poetry from each of the Saguna bhaktas, Nirguna Bhaktas, Sufis, and Sikhs and highlight the differences between the traditions.

I don't need the exact answer... but any guidance or ideas of where to look online for specifics would be extremely helpful!
