Ok, I'll be honest from the get-go here. I've never really been a fan of Bollywood films, mainly because I just don't think they're very good. Having said that, I've been watching them since I was little, and 2 of my favourite movies ever, and ones that I'll always rewatch, are Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushie Kabhie Gham (words cannot describe how much I love Shahrukh and Kajol together, best onscreen Bollywood couple EVER). I just came back from a holiday to Pakistan, and now my interest in Bollywood and Indian movies has been peaked again. I just figured, take them with a pinch of salt, because all they're meant to be is fun and entertaining, and for the most part, they are!
I watched Om Shanti Om recently, which I thought was great (I'll admit it, I'm a total Shahrukh fangirl), and I thought the whole in-joke about OK being this big Bollywood actor was brilliant - plus I loved Kajol's cameo in the song! I also saw Race, which was surprising, unexpectedly funny and had some great twists. I really enjoyed it, and the music was great. We also watched Jab We Met, and while I'm not a huge fan of Kareena Kapoor, I thought she and Shahid were cute together. We caught a bit of another of their films, 36 China Town, which was funny from what I saw, so I want to watch the rest of that if I can. Same with Welcome.
I've just been rewatching bits of KKHH and K3G on YT, and also the songs from Dil Se, which I've gotten really into again. It just has an amazing soundtrack, really different from other Indian music, I love it!
Yeah, I think it's safe to say I've been reverted
