Hey,
Im from Britain, ive done a lot of Hiking around the northern parts of Britain (mostly the Highlands in Scotland) im wandering, whats the Appalachian trail like, is there a clear rout (for example, you aren't going to get lost easily) where is the best place to go, out of interest, how long would it take to Hike all of it for a fit person (i know its a very long Trail) Are there many places to get food along the way, places to stay, what would the locals be like to a foreigner from England? When Hiking, people are very very nice and easy to talk to (everybody you walk past makes polite conversation), but that's in Britain, im not shure what it would be like in the middle of nowhere in the US where they probably don't see many foreigners. Im shure it will be fine though.
Anything you know about it tell me, it would be great thanks! :]
How much would it cost, say if i tried to compleate it in 5 mounths?
