south mntn" is great if you like a sone carved stairmaster for about 1 1/2 hours straight. The view is nice, but the climb sucks. I would agree that Sedona has the best hikes in the State of AZ.
Depends what part of az you go to, sedona is beautiful and you can find plenty of hiking trails up there.. another place that is fantastic is "the waves" at vermillion cliffs and coyote buttes thats at the northern part of az near utah I'd say they're some of the most beautiful places in arizona. and they both have great hiking trails just look it up on google.
