I'll be in Vegas mid-November and I'm very interested in hiking to Havasu Falls or one of the trails on the South Rim but I only have 1 day to do it. I'm trying to weigh my options here. HELP!!
Ideally, I'd LOVE to trek the Havasu Canyon and bathe in the beauty of the falls...sounds so rewarding! But after the terrible flooding last year, what is the condition of the falls now? I heard one of the falls dried out but newer ones formed. Is the water back to its beautiful blue-green color? About how many hours is the drive from Vegas to Hualapai Hilltop? And the hike to the falls?
For those that recommend a trip to the South Rim, how many hours drive from Vegas? And which is the shortest trail?
General Question: What is the temperature/climate like in mid-November?
