Hiking and sweating problem?

as I become a more active hiker and go further into the woods, I virtually soaking wet with sweat. Living in North Carolina doesn't help. I did purchase wicking pants that are quite effective, I am trying to find some brands of shirts that will dissipate sweat far better than cotton. Many brands are available, but I don't know which is best and some are very expensive.

CoolMax is one I read about, is fairly inexpensive, but I don't know how well it works.

Any recommendations or advice would be welcome.

i have used cool max before when i was hiking at Philmont scout ranch. it works really well. kept me dry during long hikes in humid weather.
