DESPITE what sites claim? The scientific literature shows:


"When energy balance is strictly controlled for, fat balance over a 24- hour period has been shown to be IDENTICAL between HIIT and standard aerobic exercise.

The only studies to show "superior fat loss" for HIIT did NOT use strictly controlled methodologies.

In fact, in one study often cited by King, the HIIT group showed a non - significant DECREASE in food intake".
