High-Waisted Denim Shorts?

I just got a pair of the miley cyrus/max azria high waisted denim shorts, and I'm kinda debating on whether i should wear them or not. What do you guys think?

I live in south texas where it's always hot, so i don't have to worry about not wearing them because it's fall.

But are they stylish? Would they look dumb?I know how to wear them right and they look good on me, but i'm kinda afraid of people giving me funny looks haha.
I'm 15, size 5 jeans, and 5'7 or 5'8.

So yeah, do you think they're still in style?

They're definitely still in style. Try wearing them with a cropped, loose-fitting tank or tee, or wear a blouse tucked into them. You can even just type "high waisted shorts" into Google images for ideas.
 
Those are definitely cute and in style. They look even better on tall people and you want to try it with a nice tucked in shirt. It shouldn't matter what other people think as long as you like them. They might try wearing them after seeing you.
