I'm new here and hope you all can help. I've been experiencing some symptoms for about 2 years that my doctor claims can add up to anything.
symptoms:
exhaustion/fatigue
weight gain (even when on jenny craig and not cheating!!)
constantly cold (i can/have wear wool sweaters in the summer)
unable to concentrate, (brain fog)
pain in front and right side on neck thyroid/lymph area
unable to sleep through night (usually sleep 3-4 hours then up for 1-2)
feet felt like bones were shattering when standing 4-7 X per week
heart rate went up to 160 sitting at desk 3 times in 1 hour and stayed at over 100bpm for about 3 weeks.
last 3 days i have started to get a very stiff neck painful to massage the back of it, stiff shoulders and elbows (pops and hurts to extend), my knees hurt when sitting for a while or going up or down stairs.
blood work taken last week showed esr was 75 normal 0-20 and crp was 24.4 normal 0-10. but ana was normal and so was cbc. still waiting on cold agglutinin test.
My doc is sending me to a rheumy but not until he gets the loop event recorder results that i'm currently wearing.
does anyone have similar symptoms or have any clue what could be causing this?? i was looking into thyroid before as fit the symptoms before the new ones started and have family history of hashi's. but tests always came in high normal range. Now i'm alittle lost. any comments would be appreciated.
