High School Students @ The Movies

You know, I really just don't get it. You pay 8.00 to get into a movie, yet high school students view it as just paying for a place to sit and talk (and text message to the person sitting next to them).

Seriously, wtf.

Actually the majority of people that do that type of thing are inconsiderate college students. Particularly girls but high school students do take their part. Why don't you just go to the movies at a later time when they can't go.

but does this really make life suck?

I think the invention of the VCR combined with a continuing decline in respect for others creates these kinds of movie goers. It's sad and generally keeps me out of the big screen.

They're not as annoying as people who take their 3 year old kids to the movies and don't quiet them or take them out when they start crying.

Or people who eat their snacks really loud, so all I hear is the rustlings of wrappers and the smacking of people eating and the slurping of people drinking.

The theater sucks.

I usually just wait for a movie to come out of dvd unless I "really" wanna' see it.

Other then that I was at the spot where I went to see movies with my friends alot and really-we made fun of the movies or talked about how cool they where but we weren't retarted and text messaged each other or stupid shit like that.:happysad:

We should make a wtf movie theatre so all the stupid people can go there and we can watch our movies in peace. :)

ya. its you little fuckers that sit outside the movie theatre waiting for your parents to pick you up. do you have any idea the traffic you cause? :p
by the way...if you think its bad now...just wait until you get to college. its sickening how broke you get.

In general today, people are rude and insensitive pricks, whether in college, grade school, middle school, high school, barber college or otherwise. Just deal with it.

What I think is a FUCKIN' CRIME at the local cinema these days are the commercials you havta to watch in order to see the movie. Seven or eight commercials, followed by seven or eight coming soon movie trailers. They show so much shit before the movie even starts, there have been times where I actually forgot what I went to the movies to see in the first place.

I think the person who came up with the idea to play commercials at the movies and every theater owner/manager who allows it to happen should have their genetalia cut off, deep fried and fed to rabid dogs.

Commercials don't belong at the movies. Period.

In my opinion, movie theaters should be illegal because they support underage prostitution. Teenage guys are willing to pay $16 to get a girl into a dark area to fondle them. The theaters know this; it's how they make most of their money, that and outrageous snack pricing. I say we rise up and boycott.

When I went and saw The passion of the christ some lady brought her baby in there(looked around just born) and it started screaming near the middle of the movie.. I was like "WTF?!" and she took it outside.

I remember when I saw LOTR too and there was tons of kids in there jumping off the stairs and yelling and shit. Some guy came down and knocked one of them upside the head and they all left yelling at him when he chased them.. He came back and we all clapped.

Snakes on a plane was a different story.. 15 people there and every single person was making noises and cheering(even me) everytime samuel L Jackson said something we could all quote

The thing that keeps me from going is the lack of movies worth seeing that Hollywood is shitting out right now.

In relation to the topic if it's really that big a deal don't go to the theaters.. Just rent it when it comes out on DVD or whatever.
