High school steps to get a degree in Animal Biology?

Hi i am currently a junior in high school taking two AP courses, one being AP biology, and the other AP environmental Science. i would like to major in college as animal biology, and minor in environmental science. can someone give me some steps before highs school to help me with my degree and chances in college, maybe name some classes i should take, online even. please help, i want this to be my future.
 
Visit your high school guidance counselor and announce to him/her your plans and ask for any tips. Possibly take a job with a vet, learning a little bit about the environment. Next, start scouting colleges and universities that offer these programs and begin applying (junior and senior year go by quickly, don't waste time), and look for any financial assistance if your parents will not pay for your education.
